The Vitavia Phoenix Greenhouse is the brand new 8ft wide model in the Vitavia range. This new greenhouse has features never before seen on a Vitavia that will make using this model a lot more pleasurable and practical to use.
The best new design feature on this greenhouse has to be the new Low Threshold Entrance whereby there is no “step” to physically walk over to enter the greenhouse. This means much better safety, as there’s nothing to trip over while carrying seed trays etc. It’s also an advantage for entering the greenhouse with a wheelbarrow or if you use a walking stick or wheelchair.
If you choose toughened safety glass or 6mm twin wall polycarbonate glazing you can now pick the option of replacing the traditional wire glazing clips with the new Vitavia Glazing Capping. These are long strips of tough plastic that run around your glazing, holding it firmly in the frame in very much the same way as the double glazing in your house. The capping also prevents your glazing vibrating in windy conditions making the greenhouse more sturdy as a result.
