What makes the Vitavia Sirius different from other greenhouses?

The Sirius features a unique T-Shaped Orangery design and uses a 'Bar Capping' system to hold the glass, rather than standard clips. This provides superior wind resistance and a premium aesthetic.

Does the Vitavia Sirius include a base?

Yes, the Vitavia Sirius comes with a matching steel base plinth as standard, which simplifies the groundwork required for its T-shaped footprint.

What glazing comes with the Vitavia Sirius?

The Sirius is supplied with full-length 3mm Toughened Safety Glass as standard, secured by a continuous rubber bar capping system.

Can the Vitavia Sirius be used as a conservatory?

Yes. Its 'Orangery' style, high eaves, and spacious 12x12 footprint make it ideal for use as a garden room or leisure space, as well as for growing plants.

we will see after I’ve built it.

Verified Customer

The greenhouse parts plus glass arrived safely packed.
We erected the greenhouse ourselves and after a couple of initial errors we got into the swing of it and are really pleased with the results.
The diagrams in the instruction manual could be clearer but we got there, though it did seem to take many hours.

Verified Customer

Unfortunatly has not been put together yet,

Verified Customer

great comminication throughout and a great product

Verified Customer

We haven’t even opened it yet - waiting for greenhouse to be erected 😂

Verified Customer

Extremely helpful, could answer all my questions and give advice. Delivery was first class, one of the best delivery companies I've dealt with if not the best.
Product is fitted and looks great.

Verified Customer

It was easy to choose the greenhouse itself and then the extras. Hassle free and it was delivered when expected. I would however advise that you may want to hire someone to put it together for you, unless you are good at following this sort of instructions. The greenhouse looks fantastic and I am very happy to have bought it. I would recommend the Greenhouse Stores.

Verified Customer

ordered a 4x6 greenhouse which was delivered on time. My son put it up in a day and it looks lovely. Can't wait for the next spring growing season.

Verified Customer

Great in communication. Attentive. Concrete base layer needed and link to him enabled him to do it. Lean to greenhouse efficiently assembled. Highly recommended

Verified Customer

Brilliant service from start to finish and a slight issue with my order was resolved extremely quickly great service

Verified Customer

Great product and straight forward to assemble, would suggest a few addition 3D views in the assembly manual but thats only so you can confirm which orientation you are working on. Also make sure the base is securely fixed prior to the build and ensure you are within 1mm on corner to corner measuring so you know you are square before you start building up. Some of confusion on some of the instructions as the description can be read several ways. All in all a very simple build. Only concern is how it acts in strong winds, I have positioned mine adjacent to a fence on one side and a structure at the rear to try and reduce the potential for wind causing damage

Verified Customer

Absolutely love my greenhouse. Fast delivery, very helpful friendly delivery driver. Good communication. Fast to get back to me when emailed with problem putting together. Thank you

Verified Customer

Matt's installation tip: squaring the t-shape

The Sirius is a "T-Shape" structure, which makes the foundation layout more critical than on a standard box greenhouse. You have extra corners to align.

Important Step: When assembling the included steel base, do not just measure the sides. You must measure the diagonals of the main rectangular section AND the protruding porch section. If these diagonals are not identical to the millimetre, the complex roof geometry will not align later. Spend extra time getting this base perfect.

Why We Chose This Range

“We stock the Vitavia Sirius because it is one of the few 'off-the-shelf' greenhouses that rivals bespoke timber glasshouses costing three times as much. The T-Shape design isn't just for looks; it creates distinct 'zones', use the central porch for seating and the wings for growing. Plus, the Bar Capping system solves the #1 complaint about greenhouses (flying clips in storms), making it the most secure aluminium greenhouse in our collection.”

Common questions about the vitavia sirius

What is Bar Capping?
Most greenhouses use small metal "W-clips" to hold the glass. The Sirius uses Bar Capping, which is a continuous rubber strip that runs the full length of every glazing bar. This looks much neater (no visible clips) and holds the glass far more securely in high winds.
Does it come with a base?
Yes. The Sirius includes a matching Steel Base Plinth as standard. This provides a solid, square foundation and ensures you have the correct "T-Shape" layout to build upon.
Is Toughened Glass standard?
Yes. As a premium "Orangery" style building often used for leisure, the Sirius is supplied exclusively with 3mm Toughened Safety Glass. This is 5-7 times stronger than standard glass and essential for such a large structure.
What are the dimensions?
The Sirius is approximately 12ft x 12ft (3.84m x 3.84m) overall. It features high 1.56m eaves (over 5ft) and a generous 2.52m ridge height, giving it a cathedral-like feeling inside.
