A flat, level base is what buyers most often mention when a build goes well or badly. When fitting a greenhouse, I recommend slabs, concrete, decking or a dwarf wall for the base. Soil and gravel are not suitable. If you choose professional installation, your base needs to be ready before the installers arrive.

Delivery and packaging
Free delivery is available on eligible UK mainland orders. Some products and postcodes have additional delivery charges. Delivery times depend on the model, finish and delivery address. Check the current estimate on your product page and read our delivery information. Made-to-order wooden greenhouses take longer than stocked aluminium models.
Product quality by brand
Elite greenhouses are aluminium, and Elite frames carry a 20-year warranty. Vitavia greenhouses are also aluminium. They are at the lower-priced end of the range and are often chosen as a first greenhouse. Swallow wooden greenhouses are made from Thermowood timber and are made to order. Their delivery takes longer than stocked aluminium models.
Installation service feedback
Our installation service is available on eligible models. Availability and price are shown in the product options. When fitting these models, we need a flat, level base ready before arrival. Self-assembly suits buyers who are comfortable with DIY and have another person to help.

It was easy to choose the greenhouse itself and then the extras. Hassle free and it was delivered when expected. I would however advise that you may want to hire someone to put it together for you, unless you are good at following this sort of instructions. The greenhouse looks fantastic and I am very happy to have bought it. I would recommend the Greenhouse Stores.

Great product and straight forward to assemble, would suggest a few addition 3D views in the assembly manual but thats only so you can confirm which orientation you are working on. Also make sure the base is securely fixed prior to the build and ensure you are within 1mm on corner to corner measuring so you know you are square before you start building up. Some of confusion on some of the instructions as the description can be read several ways. All in all a very simple build. Only concern is how it acts in strong winds, I have positioned mine adjacent to a fence on one side and a structure at the rear to try and reduce the potential for wind causing damage

We were looking for some shelving for our greenhouse. It's funny how garden centred don't sell extras. Of course I thought my husband wanted the wooden slat type of shelving, but when he saw yours, that's just what he wanted. We have had our greenhouse over 30 years.
