We are Circle Online Limited, trading as Greenhouse Stores. These terms apply to orders placed with us online, by phone or by email.
Your order is governed by the terms in force when you placed it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Free gifts are offered per order and are subject to availability. We may substitute a gift with an item of equal or higher value. We will tell you if we do.
You can order online, by phone on 0800 098 8877, or by email at sales@greenhousestores.co.uk.
We accept major credit and debit cards and PayPal. Card payments are subject to checks and authorisation by your card issuer. We process your order once payment is authorised.
We send an order confirmation email after receiving your order. This confirms receipt of your order. It does not mean we have accepted it.
Our contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
Before then, we may decline your order if, for example, a product is unavailable or a price is incorrect. If we decline your order, we will refund anything you paid.
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate unless stated. Any delivery charges are shown before you pay.
If we discover a pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you with the correct price. You can choose to proceed at that price or cancel without charge.
We describe products as accurately as we can. Product descriptions form part of your contract. Colours displayed on your screen can vary slightly.
Sizes in product names, such as 6x8, are nominal. Check the exact dimensions on the product page before ordering.
Our growing and assembly guides provide general advice. Follow the manufacturer's instructions when assembling your greenhouse.
Delivery times vary by product, brand and postcode. Please read our delivery information.
We will deliver within the time shown on the product page or otherwise agreed with you. If no delivery time is agreed, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being formed.
You may cancel if we miss an agreed delivery date that was essential. You may also cancel if we fail to deliver within a further reasonable period you set. In either case, you will receive a refund.
Delivery is normally to the nearest safe, accessible kerbside point. It does not include carrying goods into your garden or assembly. Tell us about access restrictions before delivery.
A redelivery charge may apply if access is unsuitable or nobody is available for an agreed appointment. We will tell you the cost before arranging redelivery.
Risk passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, take physical possession of the goods. Ownership passes to you when we receive full payment.
Most online, phone and email orders have a statutory cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
You can cancel before delivery or within 14 days after you, or someone you nominate, receive the goods. For goods ordered together but delivered separately, this period starts after the last item arrives.
You do not need to give a reason. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel through any of these methods:
You may use the cancellation wording in our Returns Policy. Any clear statement is acceptable.
Exceptions for goods made to your specification or clearly personalised are explained in section 10.
Return the goods within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel, unless we have offered to collect them.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. We may reduce your refund if handling beyond that has reduced their value. Original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of cancellation.
We refund the price of the goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery. Any extra amount paid for premium delivery is not refunded.
You pay the direct cost of returning unwanted goods, as we tell you before you buy. Large items may require specialist collection. We will confirm the collection cost before arranging it and may deduct it from your refund.
We refund your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of return, whichever comes first. If we offer to collect the goods, the refund deadline runs from your cancellation notice instead.
Further return instructions are in our Returns Policy.
If you refuse delivery because goods are damaged, faulty or incorrect, section 12 applies.
For other reasons, we treat refusal as a cancellation under section 7, where that right applies. We refund under section 8, less any direct return cost you are responsible for. We will tell you that cost.
Please contact us before refusing delivery, unless accepting it would be unsafe.
The statutory cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. Being made to order does not, by itself, remove that right.
Elite and Swallow greenhouses are made to order for each customer. Where the statutory exception applies, cancelling an Elite or Swallow order after production begins carries a 30% restocking fee. This fee does not apply when you exercise a statutory cancellation right.
Contact us as soon as possible if you want to change or cancel a made-to-order product. We will make any cancellation exception clear before you order.
Your rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrect goods still apply.
Our optional installation service is available on selected greenhouses. We carry out installation with reasonable care and skill.
Before installation, provide a suitable, level base and clear access to it. Suitable bases may include a concrete pad, paving slab base or timber base.
If the base or access is not ready, we will agree a new installation date with you. We will explain any extra cost before it is incurred.
Installation work carries a 12-month installation warranty. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
You can cancel the installation service within 14 days after the service contract is formed. If you expressly request work during that period, you pay proportionately for work completed before cancellation. This payment requirement applies where we have provided the required cancellation information.
The cancellation right ends after full installation only with your express consent and acknowledgement that completion ends that right.
Installation does not remove your right to cancel the goods themselves where that right applies. We may reduce your refund for any loss in value caused by assembly beyond permitted inspection.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
You can reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. Where we must install the goods, this period starts once installation is complete.
After that period, or if you prefer, you can ask for a repair or replacement. If this is impossible or unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.
Please contact us as soon as you can with your order number and photos where useful. Keep the packaging until we advise you, if possible. Missing packaging does not remove your statutory rights.
We do not charge for returning goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or sent in error. Manufacturer guarantees are in addition to your statutory rights.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or breach of your statutory rights.
We sell goods for domestic and private use. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or transport disruption. We will tell you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the delay.
If the delay is likely to be significant, you may cancel and receive a refund for goods not delivered. Your delivery rights in section 6 still apply.
If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you. You can choose an alternative or a full refund.
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Email support@greenhousestores.co.uk or phone 0800 098 8877 if you have a complaint. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can get free advice from Citizens Advice.
