Delivery areas and charges

Many products include delivery to most UK mainland addresses. Some suppliers charge extra for remote postcodes, islands or restricted areas. The product page and checkout should show any known charge before payment.

Please contact us before ordering if your address is difficult to reach or outside a standard delivery area. We can confirm whether the supplier serves your postcode and whether a surcharge applies.

Arranging your delivery

The carrier or supplier will usually contact you when an appointment is required. Smaller accessories may arrive by parcel courier without an arranged time.

Delivery dates can change because of stock, manufacturing, weather or transport conditions. Please do not book installers or tradespeople until every item has arrived and been checked.

Access and unloading

Large garden buildings and glazing can arrive on specialist vehicles. Tell us before delivery about narrow roads, low bridges, weight restrictions, steps, steep slopes or limited turning space.

Delivery is normally to the nearest safe kerbside or accessible point stated by the supplier. It does not usually include carrying goods through a property, moving them into the garden or installing them.

An adult may need to be present to accept and check the order. A failed delivery or redelivery charge can apply when access is unsuitable or nobody is available for an agreed appointment.

Checking your order

Check the number of packages and their visible condition when delivery arrives. Note obvious damage on the carrier's paperwork where possible. Do not refuse the whole order without first contacting us unless accepting it would be unsafe.

Open and check the packages promptly. Report damage, missing parts or an incorrect item to support@greenhousestores.co.uk. Include your order number and clear photographs where useful.

Delayed deliveries

Contact us if your estimate has passed and you have not received an update. We will check the order with the supplier and give you the latest available information.

Your rights depend on the delivery date agreed and the circumstances of the delay. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights.

Delivery questions

Is delivery free?

Often, but some products and postcodes carry a clearly stated delivery charge.

When will I receive a delivery date?

The supplier or carrier usually contacts you when an appointment is required.

Will the driver carry my greenhouse into the garden?

Usually not. Delivery is normally to the nearest safe and accessible point.

Should I book an installer before delivery?

No. Wait until all packages have arrived and you have checked them.

What should I do if a package is damaged?

Photograph it, note visible damage and contact us as soon as possible.

Can you deliver to a remote postcode?

It depends on the supplier. Contact us for coverage and surcharge confirmation.
