Elite Titan 700 Greenhouse

Elite titan 700: britain's rare 7ft wide wind resistant greenhouse

💡 The Elite Titan 700 occupies a unique position in the greenhouse market. 7ft wide greenhouses are exceptionally rare because standard greenhouse glass measures 2ft wide, most manufacturers only produce models in 2ft increments (6ft, 8ft, 10ft). Finding a genuine 7ft wide model takes serious searching.

But the Titan 700 isn't just unusual in width. It combines this rare dimension with Core-Vect framework engineering that withstands winds up to 90mph, making it ideal for exposed moorland, highland estates, and coastal properties where standard greenhouses fail.Includes a 20 Year Elite Warranty!

Why 7ft width solves a common problem

Gardens often have awkward spaces: too wide for a 6ft greenhouse (which feels cramped), but too narrow for an 8ft model (which overwhelms the area or won’t fit). A 7ft greenhouse bridges this gap perfectly.

You gain 17% more floor space than a 6ft model, enough for comfortable staging on both sides without the tight squeeze. Yet you save precious garden width compared to 8ft alternatives. For side gardens, narrow plots, or spaces with specific boundary restrictions, 7ft width often represents the only sensible option.

Core-vect framework: storm-proof construction

The Titan 700 uses 56mm thick aluminium bars with 40% more material than standard greenhouses. Every vertical and horizontal bar includes cantilever bracing, distributing wind loads across the entire structure rather than stressing individual joints.

This engineering matters in exposed locations. Open moorland, highland sites above 200m elevation, and coastal properties regularly experience winds exceeding 60-70mph. The Titan 700’s framework withstands sustained winds to 90mph and gusts beyond 100mph, performance that separates genuine wind-resistant construction from marketing claims.

Standard features (not optional extras)

✅ Every Titan 700 includes a 1.2m wide double door with low-threshold access, 10-blade automatic louvre vent (opens at 15°C), bar capping on all framework, canopy seals at every glazing joint, and toughened safety glass in lower panels. These features come standard regardless of colour or size choice.

The canopy sealing system prevents drips and draughts during storms, a persistent problem with poorly sealed greenhouses. Bar capping stops rainwater pooling inside aluminium channels where freezing causes expansion damage.

Size and colour options

Available in 8 lengths from 7x6ft to 7x20ft. Choose mill finish aluminium or any of 11 powder-coated colours including Vine Green, Anthracite Grey, Ocean Blue, and Jet Black. Colour finishes add £210-390 depending on length but include a 25-year frame warranty against corrosion, critical for coastal locations where salt spray corrodes standard frames within 5-7 years.

About our elite titan 700 greenhouses

The Elite Titan 700 represents Britain’s only readily available 7ft wide wind-resistant greenhouse, combining the rare 7ft dimension with proven Core-Vect framework engineering. These 7ft wide greenhouses provide 42-140 square feet of growing area depending on length, 17% more floor space than 6ft models while remaining narrower than 8ft alternatives.

7ft width is exceptionally uncommon in greenhouse manufacturing because standard glass panels measure 2ft wide, pushing most designs toward even-numbered widths (6ft, 8ft, 10ft). This makes the Titan 700 particularly valuable for gardens with specific dimensional constraints.

Each Titan 700 greenhouse includes cantilever bracing on every bar, 10-blade automatic louvre vents, low-threshold double doors, and toughened safety glass as standard. The 56mm Core-Vect framework withstands winds up to 90mph, essential for moorland, highland, and coastal properties where standard 38mm framed greenhouses fail within 5-10 years.

🚚 Free mainland UK delivery included. Professional installation available throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. Need guidance on base preparation? Read our guide on how to build a greenhouse base.

Choosing your elite titan 700: quick guide

Select your Titan 700 size based on available garden width and growing requirements. Prices range from £2,147 for the compact 7x6ft model to £3,895 for the extended 7x20ft version in mill finish aluminium. Powder-coated colour finishes add £210-390 but include an improved 25-year warranty against coastal corrosion.

The 7ft width solves dimensional problems that plague many gardeners. If you’ve measured your space and discovered 6ft feels cramped but 8ft exceeds available width, the Titan 700 represents your only storm-proof option at this specific dimension.

Look for the 56mm Core-Vect framework specification, this distinguishes genuine wind-resistant construction from standard aluminium greenhouses using 38mm bars. The 40% additional aluminium content explains the 30-year lifespan versus 12-15 years for budget alternatives.

Most customers in exposed locations choose 7x10ft to 7x14ft sizes, balancing growing capacity against garden proportions. The 7x6ft and 7x8ft models suit constrained urban spaces or side gardens where every inch of width matters.

⚠️ Base Preparation: The Titan 700’s superior strength demands a level foundation within 5mm tolerance. Uneven bases cause door misalignment and void warranties. Budget £265-495 for professional base kits depending on greenhouse length.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Why choose a 7ft wide greenhouse over a 6ft or 8ft model?

A 7ft width provides 17% more space than a 6ft greenhouse, which allows you to have 2ft wide staging on both sides with a comfortable central walkway. It is the perfect compromise for gardens where an 8ft model would overwhelm the space or block access paths.

• Is the Titan 700 really 100mph wind rated?

Yes. The Elite Titan range is independently tested to withstand sustained winds of 90mph and gusts over 100mph. This is made possible by the Core-Vect box-section framework and full cantilever bracing on every glazing bar.

• What comes as standard with the Titan 700?

Every Titan 700 includes double sliding doors with a low-threshold base, a 10-blade manual louvre vent, roof vents (quantity varies by length), bar-capping glazing fixings, and an integral aluminium base kit.

• Why is 7ft width so rare for greenhouses?

Standard greenhouse glass measures 2ft wide, meaning most manufacturers design in 2ft increments (6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft). Creating a 7ft wide greenhouse requires custom glazing arrangements, making it uncommon in the market. The Titan 700 is one of very few 7ft wide models available in the UK, and the only one offering genuine wind resistance up to 90mph.

• How much do Elite Titan 700 greenhouses cost?

Titan 700 greenhouses range from £2,147 for the 7x6ft model to £3,895 for the 7x20ft version in mill finish aluminium. Powder-coated colour options add £210-390 depending on length. All prices include free UK mainland delivery, VAT, and toughened safety glass in lower panels as standard.

• What advantage does 7ft width offer over 6ft or 8ft?

The 7ft width provides 17% more floor space than 6ft models, enough for noticeably more comfortable staging and walkway space. Yet it fits gardens where 8ft models prove too wide. For side gardens, narrow plots, or properties with specific boundary constraints, 7ft width often represents the only viable option between feeling cramped (6ft) and not fitting at all (8ft).

• Can the Titan 700 withstand moorland and coastal conditions?

Yes, the Titan 700 is specifically engineered for exposed locations. Tested to 90mph sustained winds and 100mph+ gusts, with 56mm Core-Vect framework providing three times the rigidity of standard 38mm frames. Powder-coated finishes resist coastal corrosion with a 25-year warranty, compared to 5-7 years for standard greenhouse frames. Ideal for open moorland, highland sites above 200m, and coastal properties.

• What comes included with the Titan 700?

Every Titan 700 includes a 1.2m wide double door with low-threshold access, 10-blade automatic louvre vent opening at 15°C, bar capping on all framework, canopy seals at every glazing joint, cantilever bracing on all bars, and toughened safety glass in lower panels. No optional extras required for basic functionality.

• What base do I need for the Titan 700?

You need a level base (within 5mm tolerance) supporting the entire perimeter. Options include steel base kits (£265-495), timber dwarf wall (minimum 100mm x 100mm treated timber), or concrete slab (minimum 100mm thick). Uneven bases void warranties and cause door operation failures. The Titan 700’s storm-proof performance requires proper foundations, budget £300-550 for professional base installation if DIY construction isn’t feasible.
