About our power apex security sheds
Power Apex Security Sheds protect your tools, bikes and equipment with a 5-point locking system and 50mm thick security bolt. The slit windows let in natural light without giving a clear view of your shed contents. Available in 4ft, 6ft and 8ft widths with lengths from 4ft to 20ft.
Every security shed uses fully dip treated tongue and groove panels with heavy duty framing. The apex roof provides headroom and sheds rainwater quickly. Toughened glass slit windows resist break-in attempts better than standard shed windows. All models include galvanised hinges and fittings that will not rust.
For standard storage without the security features, see our full sheds range. If you need an L-shaped design for tight spaces, our Power Corner Sheds fit flush into garden corners.
Why We Chose This Range
"Shed break-ins are a real problem. Standard sheds have a single padlock hasp that takes seconds to force open. The Power security range solves this with a 5-point lock and a 50mm bolt. I have tested these locks myself and they are genuinely difficult to defeat without power tools. The slit windows are the other clever detail. Light gets in, but nobody can see what is worth stealing."

Matt's Tip
Anchor your security shed to a concrete base with coach bolts through the floor bearers. A thief can lift an unsecured shed off its base in minutes. Four coach bolts into concrete make that impossible. It takes 20 minutes to drill and bolt down but it is the single best security measure you can add.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How secure are power apex security sheds?
They feature a 5-point locking system with a 50mm thick bolt. This is far more secure than a standard padlock hasp. The lock engages at five points around the door frame, making it very difficult to force open. Slit windows prevent thieves from seeing inside.
-
What widths are available?
Security sheds come in 4ft, 6ft and 8ft widths. Lengths range from 4ft to 20ft across the range. The 4ft width fits narrow side passages. The 8ft width gives you room for bikes, mowers and a workbench. Choose the width that fits your available space.
-
Can I position the door on any side?
Yes, the adaptable design lets you place the door on any panel. You decide the layout during assembly. This means the shed fits any garden position. Most customers place the door facing the house for easy access and clear sightlines.
-
Do security sheds need annual treatment?
Apply wood preservative once a year to maintain the 10 year warranty. The factory dip treatment covers the first 12 months. After that, a coat of shed treatment takes 30 minutes and protects the timber for another year. Focus on the end grain and bottom edges where moisture sits.
-
Are the windows breakable?
The slit windows use toughened glass that is five times stronger than standard. They are narrow enough to prevent anyone reaching through even if the glass breaks. Toughened glass also shatters into blunt pieces rather than sharp shards, making it safer around the garden.
