The Eden Pro 4.2kW Greenhouse Heater is the most powerful model in the Eden range. It heats greenhouses up to 200 sq ft and is built from stainless steel for long-term durability. Made in Great Britain, it features blue flame burners, piezo ignition, and full thermostatic control. The body measures 360mm wide, 130mm deep, and 485mm high.
We recommend the Eden Pro for medium to large greenhouses â anything from an 8ft x 10ft up to a 10ft x 20ft structure. The 4.2kW output is more than double the standard Eden 2kW model, which means it can cope with bigger spaces and colder conditions. The blue flame burners distribute heat evenly across the growing area without scorching nearby plants.
The stainless steel finish sets this apart from the standard Eden's powder-coated body. Stainless steel handles the constant moisture inside a greenhouse better over time. Safety is covered by the ODS valve, which monitors oxygen depletion, and the flame failure device, which shuts off gas if the burner goes out unexpectedly. The hose and regulator come in the box, and the heater carries a 1 year warranty.

A solid base is the backbone of any greenhouse. You might think skipping this step saves time, but trust me?I've seen plenty of greenhouses fail because of poor foundations. A dodgy base causes more headaches than you'd believe.
What happens with a bad base? Glass cracks. Doors jam. The structure twists. Water pools where it shouldn't. And fixing these problems costs way more than doing it right first time.

The best position for a greenhouse in the UK is south-facing with the ridge running east to west. Keep at least 2 metres from buildings and trees, on level ground with good drainage. A south-facing 6x8 greenhouse runs 3-5 degrees C warmer than the same model facing north.
