First, choose your width. The compact 4ft wide models are perfect for balconies or small patios, ideal for herbs and salad crops. The 5ft and 6ft wide options (like the 6x4) offer serious space for staging, workbenches, and growing vine crops like tomatoes or grapes.
Next, choose your glazing—toughened safety glass is our recommendation if you have children or are in an exposed area. Finally, select a colour to match your home's aesthetic, from classic silver to modern graphite.
Apex vs. Pent Roof: Which is Right?
This is a common question. The Apex roof (A-frame) provides 15-20% more internal headroom, making it ideal for comfortable working and growing tall plants. The Pent roof (a single slope) has a lower overall height, which can be better for fitting under eaves or for a more contemporary look. The Elite Apex range prioritises interior space and a traditional feel.
Installation & Base Requirements
All Elite greenhouses require a firm, level base. This can be paving slabs for smaller models or a 100mm concrete pad for larger ones.
