Unlike standard greenhouses that use metal clips, the Sirius features Full Bar Capping as standard—a continuous rubber strip that locks the Toughened Safety Glass firmly against the frame, offering superior wind resistance and a cleaner, premium finish. 🔧 Matt's Installation Tip: Squaring the T-Shape
The Sirius is a "T-Shape" structure, which makes the foundation layout more critical than on a standard box greenhouse. You have extra corners to align.
Crucial Step: When assembling the included steel base, do not just measure the sides. You must measure the diagonals of the main rectangular section AND the protruding porch section. If these diagonals are not identical to the millimetre, the complex roof geometry will not align later. Spend extra time getting this base perfect.

What is Bar Capping?
Most greenhouses use small metal "W-clips" to hold the glass. The Sirius uses Bar Capping, which is a continuous rubber strip that runs the full length of every glazing bar. This looks much neater (no visible clips) and holds the glass far more securely in high winds.
Does it come with a base?
Yes. The Sirius includes a matching Steel Base Plinth as standard. This provides a solid, square foundation and ensures you have the correct "T-Shape" layout to build upon.
Is Toughened Glass standard?
Yes. As a premium "Orangery" style building often used for leisure, the Sirius is supplied exclusively with 3mm Toughened Safety Glass. This is 5-7 times stronger than standard glass and essential for such a large structure.
What are the dimensions?
The Sirius is approximately 12ft x 12ft (3.84m x 3.84m) overall. It features high 1.56m eaves (over 5ft) and a generous 2.52m ridge height, giving it a cathedral-like feeling inside.
