Mount a growhouse on a south or west-facing wall. The brick stores heat through the day and releases it at night. We measure a 3-5°C overnight gain against a warm wall. North walls suit shade crops like salad leaves.
Installer's Note: Fixing Into Brick
Bolt the frame to solid brick, not render. Use the supplied masonry anchors and drill into the brick face, not the mortar joint. On a timber wall, fix into the studs or add a backing board. A loose top fixing lets wind rock the frame.
