The Swallow Robin is a 5ft 8in wide wooden greenhouse that fills the gap between 4ft and 6ft models. Hand-crafted in Rotherham from Scandinavian ThermoWood® baked at 215°C, it is the only timber greenhouse available in this width. For gardens between 4ft and 6ft wide, the Robin delivers maximum growing space without wasting a centimetre.

Matt's Installation Tip
Because the Robin is delivered fully assembled in sections, your base must be level to within 5mm. Unlike aluminium frames that can flex slightly, ThermoWood is rigid. If the base is not level, the doors will not align. Measure your width carefully. The Robin needs 1728mm for the greenhouse plus 300mm clearance on at least one side.

Why choose the Robin over a 6ft greenhouse?
The Robin is 4 inches narrower than a 6ft model but uses wood, not aluminium. At 5ft 8in wide, it fits in spaces where a standard 6ft 8in Kingfisher will not go. You lose only about 15% of internal space compared to the Kingfisher. In return, you gain timber construction in a width no other wooden greenhouse offers.
Does the Swallow Robin need wood treatment?
No chemical treatment is required. ThermoWood is heat-treated at 215°C, making the timber naturally resistant to rot, warping, and insect damage. The oiled finish enhances the appearance. A 12-year manufacturer warranty covers all timber against decay.
What is included with a Swallow Robin Greenhouse?
Every Robin includes toughened glass, staging, auto vents, and free installation. You get 3mm toughened safety glass, full-length slatted staging, and automatic Bayliss roof vent openers. A mortise lock, stainless steel handle, and 20mm PVC damp barrier are also standard.
How wide is a Swallow Robin internally?
Internal width is approximately 5ft 2in (1575mm). This provides room for staging on one side and a clear walkway. Eaves height is 5ft 8in with a ridge height of 7ft 6in, giving comfortable standing headroom throughout.
