The 6ft wide 6x12 Halls Silverline is an attractive lean to greenhouse that will look beautiful against your house or any outbuilding.
The Halls Silverline 6ft x 12ft lean-to will give you more than enough growing space to bring on seedlings as well as grow salad, herbs and vegetables all year round. The door on the Silverline can be fitted on either side of the greenhouse making it easy to fit in with the space you have.
Halls toughened safety glass is a long single sheet that goes from base to eaves and a long single pane for each roof section. Toughened glass is recommended for gardens where children or pets are around as it won`t break into dangerous shards like standard greenhouse glass but into small pebbles like a car windscreen. Toughened safety glass is also far better if you live in a windy spot as it`s heavy meaning it won`t blow out in high winds and makes your greenhouse generally more stable as a result.

Our toughened safety glass offers superior clarity and durability. It's designed to break into small, less harmful pieces, providing enhanced safety for your greenhouse environment.

A solid base is the backbone of any greenhouse. You might think skipping this step saves time, but trust me?I've seen plenty of greenhouses fail because of poor foundations. A dodgy base causes more headaches than you'd believe.
What happens with a bad base? Glass cracks. Doors jam. The structure twists. Water pools where it shouldn't. And fixing these problems costs way more than doing it right first time.

The best position for a greenhouse in the UK is south-facing with the ridge running east to west. Keep at least 2 metres from buildings and trees, on level ground with good drainage. A south-facing 6x8 greenhouse runs 3-5 degrees C warmer than the same model facing north.
