About Our Wooden Sheds
We have sold and delivered thousands of wooden sheds across the UK. Every shed in our range uses pressure treated timber as standard, which means zero maintenance for 15+ years. No annual painting, no retreatment, no rot. The pressure treatment process forces preservative deep into the wood fibres rather than just coating the surface. It is the difference between a shed that lasts five years and one that lasts twenty.
Our collection covers everything from compact 4x3 tool stores to large 10x10 premium workshops. You will find overlap cladding for budget-friendly storage, shiplap for better weather resistance, and premium tongue and groove for the strongest construction. Free delivery to UK mainland addresses is included on every order. Most sheds dispatch within 5-10 working days.
If you need a different material, browse our plastic sheds for zero maintenance or metal sheds for maximum security. Our full sheds collection compares every option.
Why We Chose This Range
"We tested dozens of shed manufacturers before settling on the Power range. The timber quality, the pressure treatment, and the panel construction are genuinely a step above what most garden centres sell. The 15-year anti-rot guarantee is not just marketing. We have seen Power sheds still standing perfectly after a decade with zero maintenance. That is why they are the only wooden shed brand we stock."

Wooden Shed Styles We Offer
Overlap Sheds
The most affordable option. Horizontal boards overlap like roof tiles to shed rainwater. Ideal for general garden storage where budget matters most. Available in apex and pent roof styles from 4x3 to 10x8. Prices from £514.
Shiplap Sheds
Interlocking horizontal boards create a tighter seal against wind and rain. Stronger panels and a smoother finish than overlap. The right choice for exposed positions or where the shed is visible from the house. Prices from £589.
Premium Tongue and Groove Sheds
The strongest construction. Interlocking panels on all four walls, floor and roof. Thicker timber, toughened glass windows and heavy-duty door hinges. Built to last 20+ years. Prices from £1,189.
Security Sheds
Windowless design with heavy-duty padlock bar and reinforced doors. Ideal for storing expensive tools, bikes and machinery. Available in apex and pent styles from 4x4 to 12x10. Prices from £649.
Potting Sheds
Half-glazed front for natural light with solid rear and sides for storage. Built-in potting bench. Available as standalone or combi models with an attached storage section. Prices from £1,094.
Bike Sheds and Storage
Purpose-built for bicycles with wide double doors, ramp access and internal bike rails. Pent roof keeps the profile low against fences and walls. Prices from £729.

Matt's Installation Tip
Every wooden shed needs a flat, level base. We recommend paving slabs or a concrete pad raised 50-100mm above ground level for drainage. The base should be 50-80mm larger than the shed footprint on all sides. Do not place a wooden shed directly on soil or grass. Moisture will wick up into the floor timbers and the pressure treatment will not protect against permanent standing water. Read our shed base building guide for step-by-step instructions.
Quick Guide: Which Cladding Should I Choose?
On a budget? Overlap cladding is the most affordable option and works fine for dry storage in a sheltered spot.
Want better weather protection? Shiplap boards interlock horizontally and create a tighter seal against driving rain. Worth the extra for exposed positions.
Want the best? Premium tongue and groove has interlocking panels on all four walls, floor and roof. The strongest, most weatherproof construction we sell.
Frequently Asked Questions About Wooden Sheds
-
What is the difference between overlap, shiplap and tongue and groove?
Overlap is the cheapest, shiplap is mid-range, tongue and groove is the strongest. Overlap boards sit on top of each other like roof tiles. Shiplap boards interlock horizontally for a tighter seal. Tongue and groove panels lock together on all sides for the most rigid and weatherproof construction. Choose based on budget and how exposed the shed position is.
-
Are your wooden sheds pressure treated?
Yes. Every wooden shed we sell is pressure treated as standard. The treatment forces preservative deep into the timber fibres, protecting against rot, fungal decay and insect damage for 15+ years. You do not need to paint or retreat the shed unless you want to change the colour.
-
How much does a wooden shed cost?
Wooden sheds start from £387 for a compact overlap model. A popular 8x6 shiplap shed costs from £764. Premium tongue and groove models start from £1,069. Security sheds with windowless designs and padlock bars start from £649. All prices include free UK mainland delivery.
-
Do I need a base for a wooden shed?
Yes. A level base is essential for the warranty and the shed's longevity. Paving slabs or a concrete pad are the best options. The base should be raised 50-100mm above ground level for drainage and extend 50-80mm beyond the shed footprint on all sides. Never place a wooden shed directly on grass or soil.
-
How long does a pressure treated shed last?
A pressure treated wooden shed lasts 15-20 years with zero maintenance. The treatment protects against rot, fungal decay and wood-boring insects. On a proper raised base with good airflow underneath, many pressure treated sheds last well beyond 20 years. Our sheds come with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee.
-
Can I use a wooden shed as a workshop or home office?
Yes. Choose a 10x8 or larger with premium tongue and groove construction. The thicker panels provide better insulation and structural rigidity. Apex roofs give more headroom for standing work. You may need electrical supply for lighting and power tools. See our garden workshops for models designed specifically for this purpose.
-
What is the delivery time for wooden sheds?
Most wooden sheds dispatch within 5-10 working days. Delivery is free to all UK mainland addresses. The shed arrives on a pallet and is carried to your garden by the delivery team. You will receive a delivery date confirmation by email after ordering.
