If you have a solid brick or stone wall, you do not need the back panel. Leave it off and save £80–£120. If you are placing the greenhouse against a fence, shed, or using it freestanding, add the glazed back. These mini greenhouses do not need a concrete base. A flat, level surface is enough. Paving slabs, decking, or compacted gravel all work. Check the surface is level with a spirit level before assembly. If placing against a fence, leave a 10mm gap for airflow and to stop condensation pooling against the timber.
