The 8x8 Halls Qube+ Greenhouse is a brand new model for 2020 and builds on the success of the smaller 6ft wide model introduced last year. It carries across the easy to build design and strong, robust features which have made it's smaller sibling such a popular model.

Halls 8x8 Qube+ Greenhouse uses features trickled down from it's more expensive Juliana brothers and sisters such as the unique alloy profiles used throughout to make glazing a doddle. Glazing capping is used that is usually reserved for far more expensive models to help make the greenhouse as weatherproof as possible.

Other practical features of the NEW 8ft Halls Qube+ range are the low threshold doors, unique Architectural wire bracing and extra wide 60mm gutters.

Super Flush Bar Capping

Super Flush Bar Capping

No nasty wire clips here. Just silky smooth glazing capping holding the toughened safety glass stylishly in place.

Architectural Cable Bracing

Halls Qube Greenhouse Bracing

The Qube is elegantly braces throughout with architectural cable. This reinforces the structure to increase it's capability to withstand impacts and wind pressure.

Smooth and Hidden Door Runners

Smooth and Hidden Door Runners

Just look at how smooth and neatly the Qubes door slides open and shut. Nice door handle too!

3mm Toughened Safety Glass

3mm Toughened Safety Glass

The Qube uses 3mm Toughened Safety Glass which is full length. This is by far the best glazing choice for British gardeners. It's easier to keep clean, looks nicer and offers superior wind resistance to any other type of greenhouse glazing.

How to Prepare the Ground for a Greenhouse Base

A solid base is the backbone of any greenhouse. You might think skipping this step saves time, but trust me—I've seen plenty of greenhouses fail because of poor foundations. A dodgy base causes more headaches than you'd believe.

What happens with a bad base? Glass cracks. Doors jam. The structure twists. Water pools where it shouldn't. And fixing these problems costs way more than doing it right first time.

Best Position for a Greenhouse UK

Best Position for a Greenhouse UK

Placing your greenhouse in the right spot makes all the difference between thriving plants and disappointing results. As a greenhouse specialist who's spent 15 years helping UK gardeners optimise their growing spaces, I've seen first-hand how position affects everything from temperature regulation to plant health.

Let me share what actually works in our unique British climate. The greenhouse position might seem like a minor detail, but it's one of those things that can make or break your growing success. I made this mistake myself when I first started - my poorly positioned greenhouse meant I was fighting an uphill battle with inadequate light and temperature fluctuations.
