Everything that goes inside, on, or under a greenhouse: staging, automatic vent openers, heaters, insulation, shading, glazing clips and spare parts. We hold accessories for Elite, Vitavia, Palram Canopia, Halls, Eden and Bayliss, with spares starting at £14.
Compatibility is where most accessory orders go wrong. Glazing clips, bolts and vent openers are brand-specific, so check who made your frame before you buy. If you are not sure, send us a photo of your glazing bar and we will match the part for you.
A greenhouse is only as good as how you kit it out. The right accessories control the heat, raise your plants to working height, and keep the structure weathertight for years. We carry the full set: staging and shelving, automatic vent openers, heaters, insulation, shading, and the spare parts that keep an older greenhouse going. Spares start at £14.
Most of our accessory calls are about fit. Glazing clips, nuts and bolts, door wheels and vent openers are made to suit a particular frame, so a Vitavia clip will not always sit in an Elite bar. Tell us your greenhouse make and rough age and we will point you at the parts that fit.
Why We Chose This Range
"After years of fitting and servicing greenhouses, I can tell you the accessories that actually change how a greenhouse performs. An automatic vent opener is top of the list, it saves your crop on the first hot day you forget to open up. Good staging is next, then proper insulation for winter. We stock the fiddly spares too, the door wheels and glazing clips, because a five-pound part often saves scrapping a perfectly good greenhouse."
— Matt, Founder of Greenhouse Stores💡 Tip: If you buy one accessory, make it an automatic vent opener. It opens the roof vent on a warm day and shuts it as the temperature drops, with no power or wiring, and it pays for itself the first time you are out and the sun comes through.
Before you order clips, bolts or wheels, find out who built your greenhouse. Elite, Vitavia, Halls and Eden all use different glazing-bar profiles. If the badge has worn off, photograph the end of a glazing bar and the door track and send it over. We would rather check than have you order twice.
Best For: Anyone who is not home all day to manage the temperature.
Why I Recommend It: It is the one accessory that protects your plants on its own. No wiring, no fuss, and it stops a greenhouse cooking on a sunny morning.
| Accessory | Why it matters | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic vent opener ⭐ Matt's Pick | Stops overheating when you are out | Buy first |
| Staging | Plants at working height, more growing area | Early |
| Insulation (bubble lining) | Cuts winter heat loss and bills | Before winter |
| Shading | Stops summer scorch and heat stress | Before summer |
Start with an automatic vent opener. After that, staging for growing space, insulation for winter, and shading for summer cover the essentials. Spare parts like clips and bolts are worth keeping for repairs.
Many are, especially fixings. Glazing clips, bolts, door wheels and vent openers are designed for a particular frame, so check your greenhouse make first. Staging, heaters and thermometers are usually universal.
Identify the maker, then match the part. Elite, Vitavia, Halls and Eden use different profiles. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your glazing bar and door track and we will confirm the right part.
If you are not home all day, yes. It opens the roof vent as the greenhouse warms and closes it as it cools, with no power needed. This prevents the rapid overheating that kills seedlings on a sunny day.
Often yes. We stock spares for current Elite, Vitavia and Palram frames, and many parts fit older models too. Send us the make and a photo and we will check what is still available.
