About Our Greenhouse Spare Parts
Greenhouse spare parts keep your frame weatherproof and safe for years. We stock glazing clips, nuts and bolts, door wheels, vent arms and seals from Vitavia, Elite and Palram. Our range starts at £15 for a pack of Vitavia nuts and bolts. We have fitted these parts on hundreds of repair jobs since 2012.
Most parts are brand-specific, so identify your frame maker before you order. Check the crossbar above the door for a stamp. If you cannot find one, send us a photo. Browse our wider greenhouse accessories, our glazing accessories for re-glazing kit, and our greenhouse roof vents for full vent replacements.
Why we chose these spare parts
"I always reach for stainless or aluminium fixings on a repair. Standard steel bolts rust inside the aluminium channel and seize solid. Then you need a drill to free them. Spend a little more now and the next repair takes minutes, not hours."
— Matt W, greenhouse installer, Greenhouse Stores
Matt's Tip: Match the part to the symptom
Glass slipping down needs spring W-clips. A gap between panes needs overlap Z-clips. A sticking door usually needs new door wheels. A vent that will not open needs a new auto-opener cylinder, not the whole arm. Diagnose first, then order.
🔧 Matt's Installation Tip: Check your frame maker first
Door wheels, gutter ends and base rails are shaped for one brand only. Elite doors run 28mm or 32mm wheels. Vitavia uses its own profile. Measure your part and confirm the maker before buying. A photo of the corner bracket lets our team identify it for you.

Why I Recommend It: These stainless clips fit almost any aluminium frame. I keep a pack in the van for nearly every job.

Frequently asked questions
How do I identify my greenhouse maker?
Check the crossbar above the door for a stamp. Most frames show Vitavia, Elite or Halls there. If yours has no badge, measure the door width and photograph a corner bracket. Email the photo to our team and we will name the part you need.
Are greenhouse spare parts universal?
Some parts fit most frames, many do not. Clips, nuts and bolts work across most aluminium greenhouses. Door wheels, gutter ends and base rails are shaped for one brand only. Always confirm your maker before ordering structural parts.
Which clips stop my glass slipping?
Spring W-clips hold glass against the frame. Use four per standard pane, two each side. For larger panes, fit six to eight clips. Overlap Z-clips support the top pane where it meets the one below.
Why avoid standard steel bolts?
Steel rusts fast in damp UK greenhouses. The rust expands inside the aluminium channel and seizes the bolt solid. Future repairs then need a drill. Use stainless steel or aluminium fixings to avoid this.
Can I retrofit an automatic vent opener?
Yes, most manual vents take an auto-opener. The wax cylinder pushes the vent open as the greenhouse warms. This protects plants from overheating when you are out. Match the opener to your vent type before fitting.
Not sure which part you need?
Do not guess. Send a photo of your broken part to sales@greenhousestores.co.uk or call our team on 0800 098 8877. We have identified obscure greenhouse spares since 2012. We will name the right part and confirm it fits your frame.
