Entry-level (hybrid, harmony & mythos)

Well suited to beginners, these are Palram's most popular aluminium models. The Hybrid features crystal-clear walls with a twin-wall roof for balanced light and plant protection. The Harmony uses crystal-clear panels throughout for maximum sun exposure (up to 90% light transmission). The Mythos has diffused twin-wall panels all over, giving you better insulation and frost protection in colder months. All three ranges include a 5-year warranty on frames and panels.

High-spec & large (glory, balance & resin models)

For serious growers who need year-round performance, the Glory is Palram's premium aluminium range with 10mm twin-wall panels (twice as thick as entry models) and an integrated auto-vent for temperature control. The Balance offers an extra-wide 8ft frame with double doors, making it easier to move wheelbarrows and large plants in and out. The Eco, Hobby, and Grand Gardener models feature ultra-tough resin frames (not aluminium) with a barn-style roof that provides 20?30cm more headroom than peaked designs.

Lean-to greenhouses

Ideal for saving space, these models attach directly to your house or garage wall and benefit from the building's stored heat. The Sun Room is a popular lean-to with a durable resin frame and 4mm twin-wall roof, using 40% less garden space than freestanding models. Palram also offers compact aluminium lean-to greenhouses (like the 4x2) that are well suited to patios, balconies, or narrow side passages.

Unique styles & garden rooms (oasis, bella, natura & ledro)

Looking for a garden centrepiece? The hexagonal Oasis offers 360-degree views and works as both a greenhouse and decorative feature. The Bella features a unique curved ?bell? shape that provides extra wind resistance and 15% more internal height. The Natura combines a beautiful timber-look frame with the durability of polycarbonate panels. The Ledro is a premium garden room, well suited to use as both a greenhouse and an outdoor living space with stylish grey finishes.

About Our Palram Canopia Greenhouses

We stock 76 Palram Canopia greenhouses in stock, with prices from £219. Palram Canopia builds every greenhouse around a rust-proof frame and shatterproof polycarbonate glazing. The ranges cover small starter houses through to large family models. You get the Mythos, Hybrid, Harmony, Balance, EcoGrow and Grand Gardener lines under one brand. When we install these in exposed coastal and open gardens, the resin and aluminium frames hold up where steel rusts and timber rots.

The glazing is the real draw. Palram uses virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, so a stray football or hailstone will not shatter a panel. That makes the brand a sound pick for family gardens with children and pets. The panels also block harmful UV while letting growing light through. For a wider view of the materials, see our polycarbonate greenhouses and plastic greenhouses ranges. If you want the strongest glazing on a clear-view model, look at the Palram Canopia Hybrid greenhouses.

Why We Chose Palram Canopia

"I have fitted Palram greenhouses on windswept plots where glass houses lose panels every winter. The polycarbonate just flexes and stays put. The Slide and Lock panel system also means I can build a 6x8 in an afternoon without fiddly clips. For most family gardens it is the brand I reach for first." — Matt, Founder of Greenhouse Stores

Matt's Tip: Pick Glazing by Crop

Choose clear polycarbonate for sun-loving tomatoes and peppers. Choose twin-wall for seedlings and winter growing. Twin-wall holds more heat and diffuses light, so tender plants do not scorch.

🔧 Matt's Installation Tip: Anchor the Base First

Build the galvanised steel base on a level slab before you raise the frame. A square, anchored base keeps the doors sliding freely. Skip this and panels can bow and doors jam within a season.

Palram Canopia Harmony 6x8 Silver Greenhouse

Matt's Pick for Family Gardens

Best For: a first greenhouse in a busy garden

Why I Recommend It: the Harmony 6x8 pairs clear polycarbonate with a strong aluminium frame. It builds fast and shrugs off knocks.

Frequently asked questions

Are Palram Canopia greenhouses any good?

Yes, they are a strong, low-maintenance choice for most UK gardens. The rust-proof frames and shatterproof polycarbonate suit exposed and family plots. We stock 76 models across six ranges.

What is the cheapest Palram Canopia greenhouse?

The Palram Canopia Lean to Greenhouse starts at £219. It bolts to a wall and suits small yards. Larger free-standing models start higher up the range.

Do Palram greenhouses need a foundation?

Yes, every model needs a firm, level base. Most kits include a galvanised steel base frame. Anchor it onto slabs, concrete or decking with the supplied ground anchors.

Is polycarbonate better than glass?

For family gardens, polycarbonate wins on safety. It is far more impact-resistant than glass and will not shatter. It also adds insulation and blocks harmful UV rays.

How long do Palram greenhouses last?

Most last 20 to 25 years with little upkeep. The frames will not rot or rust. UV-protected panels resist yellowing, and every model carries a UK warranty.
