ACD uses a unique tubular glazing system. Unlike clip-in glass, ACD glass is held by windproof rubber strips. While this makes it incredibly stable in storms, it means your frame must be 100% square before you start glazing.
If the frame is even 2mm out of alignment, the rubber seals won't seat correctly. I recommend using a laser level on the integrated base before you tighten the corner reinforcements. It takes an extra 20 minutes at the start but ensures a perfectly watertight finish that won't rattle in the wind.”
