Vitavia Greenhouse Glazing Rubber is a 10 metre roll of replacement seal strip for all Vitavia aluminium greenhouses. It sits in the glazing channel between the glass and the frame, cushioning the pane and creating a weatherproof seal.
Over time, the original rubber hardens and shrinks. When that happens, glass panes become loose, start rattling, and gaps appear that let in rain and cold air. Replacing the rubber is one of the simplest upgrades you can make to an older greenhouse.
We cut the rubber to length on site using scissors or a sharp knife. Press it firmly into the aluminium channel before sliding the glass pane back in. The rubber compresses slightly to grip both the frame and the glass edge.
A 10 metre roll is enough for a small to mid-sized greenhouse. For larger models like the Venus or Jupiter ranges, you may need two rolls. Measure your glazing bars before ordering to be sure.
