Elite Mastic Bead 150ft is a grey butyl mastic beading strip, 6mm thick, that forms a watertight seal between glass and the greenhouse frame. Supplied as a 150ft coil at £59, it replaces perished rubber gaskets on most greenhouse brands.
We use mastic bead on every re-glazing job where the original rubber gaskets have hardened or cracked. The butyl strip is pliable enough to press into the glazing channel by hand, and it moulds around the glass edge to create a weatherproof gasket. It stays flexible for years, unlike rubber which perishes in UV light.
At 150ft per coil, one roll is enough to re-seal a 6x8ft greenhouse with material to spare. Cut to length with scissors and press into the channel before seating the glass.

Delivery Times:
All Models in Plain Aluminium Finish: 4–5 Weeks
Powder Coated Compact, Streamline, Craftsman, High Eave and Belmont: 8–10 Weeks.
All other Powder Coated Models: 10–14 Weeks.
Your new Elite Greenhouse will be delivered directly from the Elite factory using specialised delivery lorries. Delivery is curbside.
We will contact you by telephone at least 7 days prior to delivery. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us.
Optional Installation: If selected, Installation will be carried out 1-8 weeks after the delivery of your Greenhouse. The Installation Team will contact you directly to book in your installation.Our installation service requires a level Concrete, Slabbed or Decked Area to the minimum size stated on the website and with 18-24 Inches of clearance around it. Failure to provide a suitable base area and clearance may result in you being charged for the failed installation If you require staging or shelving assembly, you can arrange it directly with the installation team.
