The Elite Super Warm 5 Paraffin Heater provides frost protection for greenhouses up to 5 sq metres. Its 4.5 litre tank delivers up to 3.5 days of continuous heat on a single fill. Made by Parasene, this is the simplest way to keep a small greenhouse above freezing. No electricity, no gas, and no installation â just fill and light.
We keep paraffin heaters in stock because they solve a problem nothing else does. If your greenhouse has no power supply, or you need emergency backup during a power cut, a paraffin heater works anywhere. This model is sized for 6ft x 8ft greenhouses and standard cold frames. It raises the internal temperature by a few degrees, which is often all you need to prevent frost damage to overwintering plants.
The 4.5 litre tank is generous for a heater of this size. On a low setting, you can get 3.5 days from one fill, which means less frequent trips to the greenhouse during cold spells. Standard greenhouse-grade paraffin is available from most garden centres. The heater is light enough to carry between structures if you need to protect different growing spaces on different nights.

Your new Elite Greenhouse will be delivered directly from the Elite factory using specialised delivery lorries. Delivery is curbside.

Optional Installation: If selected, Installation will be carried out 1-8 weeks after the delivery of your Greenhouse. The Installation Team will contact you directly to book in your installation.Our installation service requires a level Concrete, Slabbed or Decked Area to the minimum size stated on the website and with 18-24 Inches of clearance around it. Failure to provide a suitable base area and clearance may result in you being charged for the failed installation If you require staging or shelving assembly, you can arrange it directly with the installation team.
