About Our Light Controllers & Accessories
A grow light is only half the kit. The driver powers it, the dimmer tunes it, and the cables tie it all together. This section holds those parts: Sanlight and HortiONE dimmers, Flex II LED drivers, extension cables, T-connectors and Y-splitters. Prices start at £36 for a short extension lead, up to £107 for a 320W Flex II driver.
Match the part to your light. The Sanlight Flex II propagation bars need a driver to run; a 150W driver covers a small shelf, a 320W driver a full bench. The LED grow lights take a dimmer: a magnetic one for steps of 40 to 100%, or a Bluetooth model for phone control. Splitters and T-connectors let one driver feed several bars. Browse the full grow lights range to pick the fixtures first.
Why We Chose This Range
"This is the section people forget until the light won't power on. So here is the rule. Sanlight Flex II bars always need a driver, sized to the total wattage you are running. Sanlight EVO bars come ready to plug in, but a dimmer is worth adding if you grow seedlings and fruiting plants in the same space. The magnetic dimmer is the easy choice; the Bluetooth one suits anyone who likes to set it from a phone."
— Matt, Founder of Greenhouse Stores💡 Tip: Add the wattage of every bar on one driver, then leave headroom. A 150W driver runs a shelf of Flex II 10s and 20s, but get close to the limit and the driver runs hot. Step up to the 240W or 320W instead.
🔧 Matt's Wiring Tip: Match the connector before you buy
Flex II parts use WDC19 and WDC21 connectors; Sanlight EVO uses its own power cords and distribution block. They do not cross over. Check which system your light uses, then pick the matching cable, splitter or driver from the list.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I need a driver for my grow light?
Sanlight Flex II bars need a separate driver to run. Choose a 150W, 240W or 320W driver to match your total wattage. Sanlight EVO bars come ready to plug in, so they need no driver.
-
Which dimmer fits my light?
Match the dimmer to the brand. The Sanlight magnetic and Bluetooth dimmers suit the EVO series. The HortiONE dimmer is a 0-10V unit for HortiONE lights. The two systems are not interchangeable.
-
What is the difference between the magnetic and Bluetooth dimmer?
Both control Sanlight EVO output. The magnetic dimmer sets fixed steps of 40, 60, 80 and 100% and includes a sunrise setting. The Bluetooth dimmer adds phone control, handy if the light is hard to reach.
-
Can one driver power several bars?
Yes, use a Y-splitter or T-connector. A single Flex II driver feeds two or four bars through a splitter. Add up the wattage of every bar first and keep it inside the driver's rated output.
-
Which cable or connector do I need?
Flex II parts use WDC19 and WDC21 connectors. Check your light and driver, then pick the matching extension cable, T-connector or Y-splitter. Sanlight EVO uses its own power cords and distribution block instead.
-
How long are the extension cables?
The Flex II extension cables come in 0.6m and 1m lengths, ideal for spacing bars across a shelf. Sanlight EVO power extension and grid cords run up to 2m, with angled EU plugs to fit tight cabinets.
