Wind Damage to Greenhouses

We do sell many thousands of greenhouses per year, the majority of which have been unaffected by the recent weather.

In strong winds such as those experienced recently something has to give and the weakest point is the clips, if these do not give way then either the glass will break or the frame will buckle and if these don't give then the anchorage points will. If a door, louvre or roof vent is left ajar and the wind can enter the structure then the situation is exacerbated further.

No greenhouse currently on the market is covered under warranty against wind and weather damage. Were they to be so this would involve product costs that would simply price them out of the market for the majority of customers. There is no doubt that we have suffered some severe weather over the last few months.
