Advanced layout: Each plant has its own tray in this kit, designed for an 8x10 greenhouse. It has twenty-eight individual 1Pot trays and twenty-eight 15L pots. These suit peppers, chillies, aubergines and other bushy crops. Water comes from separate reservoirs by gravity, so no pump is needed. The system also needs no mains water connection or electricity.
We recommend this AutoPot automatic greenhouse irrigation system for mixed crops needing separate positions in an 8x10 greenhouse. The greenhouse watering kit has twenty-eight individual 1Pot modules.
The AQUAvalve5 handles the watering automatically. It lets a shallow 20mm layer of water into each tray, then shuts off. Once the plants have used that water, the valve opens and tops the tray up again. Water flows in by gravity from an external water butt or reservoir, so no pump is needed.

What you still need
You need two separate 200L water butts or reservoirs, with 400L capacity in total. These are not included with the kit.
If you keep a reservoir inside the greenhouse, leave enough room for it. You may need to remove one or two modules.
How to set it up
- Choose a firm, level surface and check that every tray sits flat.
- Place each external water butt or reservoir 150mm / 6 inches above the system.
- Water the plants by hand when you first pot them up. Wait 7-28 days for roots to establish before turning on the system.
- Flush the pipework every week.
