About our janssens eos junior greenhouses
The Janssens Eos Junior Greenhouses collection represents the perfect marriage of classic Victorian aesthetics and modern Belgian engineering. Designed specifically for gardeners who desire the steep roof pitch and decorative flair of traditional Victorian Greenhouses but demand the structural integrity of contemporary materials, the Eos Junior is a standout choice. Unlike standard models that use thin T-bars, every greenhouse in this range makes a solid framework using heavy-duty Box Section Aluminium profiles.
The "Junior" range is distinct because of its steep 38 degree roof pitch 🏠. This not only provides the elegant "Old World" look complete with cresting and finials but also offers practical benefits like superior snow shedding and increased internal height for tall crops. Whether you choose the standard straight model or the orangery-style Janssens Eos Junior T, you are investing in a structure built to last. We stock these as "Action Models," meaning you get premium quality with significantly faster delivery times than custom orders.
Choosing your janssens eos junior greenhouse
When selecting from this collection, the primary decision lies between the two main configurations. The standard Janssens Eos Junior offers a streamlined rectangular footprint (typically 2.36m wide), making it ideal for standard garden plots or patios.
If you require more architectural impact, the Janssens Eos Junior T features a central porch entrance, creating a T-shaped "Orangery" layout that separates growing zones effectively.
Quality & Specifications 🏗️
Regardless of the shape, quality is uniform. All models feature 4mm Toughened Safety Glass as standard, supplied in full-length sheets for a clean look without overlapping joins. The glass is secured using professional Rubber Glazing Seals rather than cheap spring clips, so the greenhouse is wind-tight and rattle-free during storms.
With prices ranging from £2,999 to £5,199, these Black Powder Coated Greenhouses offer a permanent garden solution. Don't forget to browse our Greenhouse Staging to maximize your new growing space.
Frequently asked questions about janssens eos junior greenhouses
-
What is the difference between Eos Junior and Junior T?
The standard Eos Junior is a rectangular greenhouse available in multiple lengths. The Junior T features a T-shaped design with a protruding central porch, creating an "Orangery" style that offers a larger internal volume and a distinct architectural centre piece.
-
How much do Janssens Eos greenhouses cost?
Our range typically starts at £2,999 for the compact straight models and reaches £5,199 for the larger T-shaped structures. This price includes the integral base, toughened glass, and the 13-year warranty frame.
-
Is the Eos Junior difficult to install?
These are substantial structures using commercial-grade profiles. While a competent DIYer can build one in 2-3 days, we highly recommend our Professional Installation service for a perfect finish, especially for the complex T-models.
-
Does the greenhouse come with a base?
Yes, all Janssens Greenhouses in the Eos range include an integral aluminium base profile. This eliminates the need for a traditional brick plinth, allowing you to anchor the structure directly to a level concrete or paved foundation.
-
Why is the roof pitch steeper on this model?
The 38 degree roof pitch is steeper than the standard 25-30 degrees found on most 8ft Wide Greenhouses. This increases ridge height for better air circulation and prevents snow buildup in winter, while enhancing the Victorian aesthetic.
