The Norhage Tre 300 10x26 wooden greenhouse is the size where a greenhouse stops being only for plants. Twenty-four square metres leaves room for beds along both sides and a chair at the far end.
Every arch in the range is identical. That is why the Tre 300 runs from four metres to twelve. You are not buying a different greenhouse at this size, just more bays of the same one.
Ventilation starts to matter over eight metres. Roof vents and automatic openers can both be added. An opener needs no electricity at all, since it works on a wax cylinder that expands as the air warms.
Six millimetre twin-wall polycarbonate is standard. Sixteen millimetre is worth considering at this length. More surface area means more heat escaping, and the thicker sheet slows that down.
Being timber, the frame responds to damp and heat across the seasons. Expect to check it now and then. If you would rather not, an aluminium greenhouse is the sensible alternative.
Please note the sheets come in standard sizes rather than pre-cut. Because a built frame varies slightly from its drawing, full sheets are supplied. Expect to cut some down on site.
