The Norhage Tre 300 10x33 wooden greenhouse is smallholding territory. Thirty square metres and a 2300mm ridge give you room to grow properly and work standing up. The Gothic arch frame is Swedish pine throughout.
Nothing about the construction changes as the model gets longer. Swedish pine frame, solid plywood arches, and the same 280 kg/m² snow rating that applies to the four metre model.
The standard covering is 6mm twin-wall polycarbonate. Air trapped between the two skins does the insulating. Diffused light suits a long house, where direct sun would leave half the beds in shadow.
Six millimetre twin-wall is standard, with 10mm and 16mm upgrades. At ten metres the glazing choice starts to show up on the thermometer. Both upgrades hold heat better than the standard sheet.
A timber frame shifts slightly with humidity and temperature. That is normal for wood and it needs an occasional adjustment. Aluminium is the maintenance-free option instead.
Please note the glazing ships uncut in standard sizes. A greenhouse this long can drift a few millimetres during assembly. Full sheets are sent and trimmed to suit on the day.
