Vitavia glazing bar capping for the Venus and Apollo 5000/6200 is an aluminium capping system that replaces spring clips on mid-size greenhouses. The capping strips hold glazing panels securely against each bar, increasing wind resistance and creating a tighter seal that stops moisture and mould forming between frame and glass. For toughened glass and polycarbonate Venus/Apollo 5000 and 6200 models only.
Mid-size greenhouses like the Venus 5000 and Apollo 6200 have more glazing area than the smaller models. That means more panels exposed to wind. We always recommend bar capping on these sizes because a single loose panel in a storm can lead to further damage inside the greenhouse.
The fitting process is the same across all Venus and Apollo models. You press the capping strips onto each glazing bar over the top of the glass or polycarbonate. No tools beyond a rubber mallet are needed, and the whole job takes a couple of hours.

The Installation Team will contact you directly to book in your installation.Our installation service requires a level Concrete, Slabbed or Decked Area to the minimum size stated on the website and with 18-24 Inches of clearance around it. Failure to provide a suitable base area and clearance may result in you being charged for the failed installation If you require staging or shelving assembly, you can arrange it directly with the installation team.
