The G-Tools Smartbox runs four devices over your home Wifi on a 2.4GHz network. Two of its sockets stay live the whole time, handy for an extractor or an oscillating fan. The other two switch on a schedule you set in a free app: one for the lights, one for an irrigation pump.
Set the light hours and the watering times from your phone, wherever you happen to be, as long as you have a signal. Each timed channel takes 10 amps and 2300 watts; the whole box is rated to 13 amps and 3000 watts. Power is 250 volts at 50Hz and an EU plug is fitted. Most growers have it programmed within a few minutes of opening the app.
