Pack 420 individual LEDs into one passively cooled panel and you get the HortiONE 420. It draws 150 watts and pushes 1354 micromol of light to a crop 30 cm below. That intensity carries seedlings through to fruiting, so a single panel handles tomatoes, peppers or a tray of herbs from start to harvest.
Efficiency sits at 2.9 micromol per joule, which keeps the running cost sensible. The LEDs hold 90 percent of their output past 50,000 hours, so you are not replacing it every season. Cable and driver are supplied. We back it with a 2 year warranty.
