Advanced layout: For bushy crops in an 8x6 greenhouse, this kit has twelve individual 1Pot trays and twelve 15L pots. Each pot has its own tray. The layout suits peppers, chillies, aubergines and other bushy crops. Water flows to each tray by gravity from a separate reservoir. No pump, mains water connection or electricity is needed.
Twelve individual 1Pot modules give mixed crops separate growing positions in this greenhouse watering kit. We recommend this AutoPot automatic greenhouse irrigation system for that layout in an 8x6 greenhouse.
The AQUAvalve5 handles the watering automatically. It lets a shallow 20mm layer of water into each tray, then shuts off. Once the plants have used that water, the valve opens and tops the tray up again. Water flows in by gravity from an external water butt or reservoir, so no pump is needed.
What is included
- 12x 15L Pot
- 12x 15L 1Pot Tray and Lid with Grommet
- 12x AQUAvalve5
- 12x Square Root Control Disc

- 8 metres of 16mm Pipe

- 3x 16mm Elbow Connector

What you still need
You need one separate water butt or reservoir of at least 200L. This is not included with the kit.
If you keep a reservoir inside the greenhouse, leave enough room for it. You may need to remove one or two modules.
How to set it up
- Choose a firm, level surface and check that every tray sits flat.
- Place the external water butt or reservoir 150mm / 6 inches above the system.
- Water the plants by hand when you first pot them up. Wait 7-28 days for roots to establish before turning on the system.
- Flush the pipework every week.
