Elite Supreme Greenhouse

Elite supreme: 10ft wide professional greenhouse for serious growers

💡 The Elite Supreme marks the transition from hobby growing to serious production. At 10ft wide, this isn’t a greenhouse where you compromise on space, it's where ambition meets capacity.

Room to actually work

A 10ft wide greenhouse changes how you garden. You can run full-length staging down both sides, add shelving above that, and still position a potting table in the centre without feeling cramped. Three people can work inside simultaneously without constantly shuffling past each other.

The floor space accommodates 60-200 square feet depending on length. That’s enough for dedicated propagation zones, main growing beds, overwintering tender plants, and storage, all in one structure. Many customers order the 10x12ft or 10x14ft sizes and discover they finally have the space they’d been trying to create across multiple smaller greenhouses.

Cantilever bracing & steel roof bars

Unlike the standard Elite range, the Supreme is engineered specifically for its 10ft span. It utilises a heavy-duty cantilever diagonal bracing system on every bar, combined with steel roof bars to prevent roof sag under snow loads. This delivers professional-grade structural integrity without the cost of a commercial tunnel.

Standard features & accessibility

✅ Every Elite Supreme includes a 20 Year Elite Warranty, double sliding doors with low-threshold access, integrated gutters, and 10ft 5" width. Glazing options include standard horticultural, toughened safety glass, or polycarbonate.

Installer's Note on Accessibility: "One massive advantage of the Supreme is the door height. Because the eaves are higher (5ft 2"), the double doors offer a taller entry clearance than the Elite Streamline or Craftsman. If you are tall or moving large citrus trees in and out for winter, this clearance is a game-changer."

Frequently Asked Questions

• How much do Elite Supreme Greenhouses cost?

Elite Supreme prices start from around £910 for the 10x4ft model with horticultural glass. Popular sizes like the 10x10ft with Toughened Safety Glass typically range between £1,800 and £2,400. This makes it one of the most affordable 10ft wide aluminium greenhouses on the UK market.

• What advantage does 10ft width offer over 8ft?

The 10ft width provides 25% more floor space than 8ft models. You gain space for full-length staging on both sides (120cm each) plus a central potting table without feeling cramped. Three people can work inside simultaneously.

• Do Elite Supreme Greenhouses need a separate base?

Yes, absolutely. The 10ft 5" width generates significant structural loads requiring a permanent, perfectly level base. Elite provides detailed base plans with your order. As per Matt's tip above, we recommend a concrete slab or paving slabs on a wet-mix mortar bed to prevent settlement.

• What is the difference between Supreme and Titan?

The main difference is the frame thickness. The Supreme uses standard Elite bars reinforced with cantilever bracing and steel roof supports, making it great for standard gardens. The Titan uses the ultra-thick "Core-Vect" bar technology, designed for severe wind locations (85mph+). The Supreme is significantly more affordable while still offering the 10ft space.

• What glazing is best for the Supreme?

We strongly recommend Toughened Safety Glass for the Supreme. Large 10ft structures have large roof panes; toughened glass is stronger and shatters safely into granules if broken. Polycarbonate is a good option for heat retention (40% better than glass) but lacks the clarity and longevity of glass.

• Is professional installation available?

Yes, our experienced installation teams work throughout the UK and can construct your Supreme in typically 1-2 days. The service includes full assembly and glazing. Given the size of the 10ft Supreme, many customers choose professional installation for peace of mind.
