About our elite titan k800 8ft wide lean-to greenhouses
The Elite Titan K800 8ft Wide Lean-To Greenhouse brings commercial-grade engineering to your garden wall. Built around the revolutionary Core-Vect 56mm frame system, these structures deliver exceptional wind resistance, significantly stronger than standard lean-to models. You'll find eight size options from 6ft to 20ft length, each featuring 3mm toughened safety glass, integrated guttering, and a low-threshold entrance for easy wheelbarrow access. Free UK mainland delivery and a 20-year manufacturer warranty back every K800 model.
Why We Chose This Range
“The Elite Titan K800 is the only 8ft wide lean-to we recommend for coastal estates or moorland gardens. Most lean-tos this wide suffer from 'roof-sag' or frame twisting because standard 38mm bars can't manage the massive glass weight and wind use. We chose the K800 because it uses the 56mm Core-Vect box-section. It treats your house wall as a structural anchor, creating a building-integrated structure that is quite the strongest lean-to available in the UK today.”
, Matt, Founder of Greenhouse StoresThe 8ft 5" width gives you 35% more growing space than 6ft alternatives, well suited to serious tomato growers or year-round propagation setups. Choose from 10 powder-coated colours including popular anthracite grey, and benefit from the high ridge that accommodates taller plants without crowding. Every K800 includes at least one automatic roof vent and one louvre vent for cross-ventilation. Our Yorkshire-built frames meet British engineering standards, and our Greenhouse Installation Service team handles the complex wall-mounting work across England, Scotland, and Wales.

Choosing your elite titan k800
Size selection starts with your wall length and intended use. The 8x6 model suits herb gardens and propagation zones, while the most popular 8x10 and 8x12 options handle serious vegetable production.
Matt's installation tip: the wall-loading rule
At 8ft wide, the Titan K800 exerts significant downward and lateral pressure on your wall. A common mistake is anchoring into old, lime-mortar joints. For a structure of this mass, you must ensure your wall fixings are into the centre of the brick.
I highly recommend using M8 masonry expansion bolts or chemical anchors for the top wall bar. Also, because the K800 uses the Bar-Capping system, the roof glass is extremely heavy; always seat your capping seals with a soapy water solution to ensure they are 100% airtight. This prevents the 'whistling' effect during 70mph winter gales. Read our full base and wall prep guide here.
- Wall Requirements: You need solid brick, stone, or concrete construction, minimum 2.4m height. Timber or rendered block walls will not support the K800's weight safely.
- Glazing: Comes standard with 3mm toughened safety glass for safety in family gardens.
- Colour: Dark finishes like anthracite grey can absorb more solar heat during winter, while lighter colours reflect summer heat.

Elite titan k800 quick guide (FAQ)
-
Is the Titan K800 actually wind-proof?
Yes. The Titan K800 is independently tested to withstand sustained winds of 90mph and gusts over 100mph. This is achieved through the 40% thicker aluminium frame and the use of the house wall as a structural backplate.
-
How much space do I need for an 8ft wide lean-to?
You need a flat, vertical wall at least 8ft 5" deep from the wall to the front of the structure. The ridge height is approximately 7ft 10", so ensure you have no low-hanging eaves or windows that will be obstructed.
-
Does it come with a base kit?
The Titan K800 features an integral low-threshold base as part of the frame design. This provides trip-free access and ensures the massive structure remains perfectly square once anchored to your foundation.
-
What makes the Elite Titan K800 different from standard lean-tos?
The K800 uses Elite's Core-Vect 56mm frame system, bars that are significantly thicker than typical 38mm lean-to frames. This construction delivers 85mph+ wind resistance.
-
Is the Elite Titan K800 suitable for coastal areas?
Yes. The combination of the heavy-duty Core-Vect frame and marine-grade powder coating options makes the K800 recommended for coastal UK locations.

Fixing the Titan K800 to your wall
The Titan K800 is 8ft deep and built for exposed sites, so its wall fixings take real load. These two guides cover the wall and the paperwork.
