Small Plastic Sheds

About our small plastic sheds

We stock six small plastic sheds starting from £359 for the Voyager 4x3 storage unit up to £493 for the Pent 4x6. This collection brings together every compact option in our Palram Canopia range, all under £500, all zero-maintenance, all with free UK delivery.

Small plastic sheds are built for tight spaces. The 4ft wide models fit in side passages and against walls. The 6x3 Skylight models give you the full 6ft width in the shallowest depth available. For larger options, see our 6ft wide plastic sheds which go up to 6x12. Every shed here uses an aluminium frame with polycarbonate panels. No painting, no treating, no rust.

Small plastic shed comparison

Matt's pick for small plastic sheds Best For: Widest small shed, fits along fences and boundaries Why I Recommend It: The 6x3 Grey is the widest shed in our small range at 1880mm. That extra width compared to the 4ft models makes a real difference when organising garden tools along the back wall. It sits neatly along a fence line and at just 3ft deep it barely intrudes into your garden space. Price: £488 View Product

Frequently Asked Questions

• How much do small plastic sheds cost?

Our small plastic sheds range from £359 to £493. The Voyager 4x3 storage unit starts at £359. Skylight sheds run from £488 to £427 depending on size and colour. The Pent 4x6 is £493. All prices include free UK delivery.

• What's the smallest plastic shed you sell?

The Voyager 4x3 is our smallest option at 4ft wide by 3ft deep. It's a front-access storage unit rather than a walk-in shed. For the smallest walk-in shed, the Skylight 6x3 offers 6ft of width in just 3ft of depth, enough to step inside and access tools stored along the back wall.

• Which small shed is best for a narrow garden?

The 4x6 Skylight or Pent models are best for narrow spaces. At just 1175-1250mm (4ft) wide, they fit in side passages and against walls where a 6ft shed won't go. The Pent version tucks against walls neatly with its sloped roof. If you have width along a fence but limited depth, the 6x3 Skylight is the better choice.

• Can one person assemble a small plastic shed?

Yes, all six models can be assembled by one person in 1-3 hours. The Voyager takes around 90 minutes. The Skylight and Pent models take 2-3 hours. All panels slot into aluminium channels without drilling. A step ladder is helpful for the roof panels but not essential at these heights.

• Are small plastic sheds secure?

Yes, every model has lockable doors as standard. The polycarbonate panels resist impact far better than glass or thin plastic sheet. They can't be kicked in like a timber panel. For garden chemicals and power tool storage, the lockable doors provide peace of mind. You can add a padlock hasp for extra security.

• Do small plastic sheds need a base?

Yes, but a simple paving slab base is sufficient. Two or three standard paving slabs on a 50mm layer of compacted sharp sand makes a stable, level foundation. Don't place directly on grass or soil, it will settle unevenly and the doors won't close properly. The base should match the shed footprint exactly.

• What can I store in a small plastic shed?

Garden tools, outdoor furniture cushions, bikes, and garden chemicals. The 4x6 models hold a push mower, garden tools, and a couple of folding chairs. The 6x3 suits long-handled tools stored along the back wall. The Voyager is designed for chemicals, hand tools, and smaller items. None of these models are large enough for ride-on mowers.
