11ft Wide Plastic Sheds

About our 11ft wide plastic sheds

Every shed on this page is 3073mm (11ft) wide. That's the Palram Canopia Yukon range, the widest plastic sheds we stock. Prices run from £1,991 for the 11x9 to £3,881 for the 11x21. All four models use the same aluminium frame and polycarbonate panel construction. The difference is depth only.

At 11ft wide, these sheds give you proper working width. From our experience fitting them, you can park a ride-on mower centrally and still walk past it on either side. The 1464mm double doors are wide enough for bulky equipment. Browse our large plastic sheds page for the same range grouped by overall size, or our 8ft wide plastic sheds if you need a narrower footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How wide are the 11ft plastic sheds in millimetres?

Every Yukon model measures exactly 3073mm (10ft 1in) externally. The internal width is 3022mm. The "11ft" name refers to the roof overhang dimension of 3320mm. When planning your base, use the external wall measurement of 3073mm and add 100mm for clearance.

• Can I fit a ride-on mower in a Yukon shed?

Yes, the 1464mm double door opening fits all standard ride-on mowers. Most ride-on mowers are 900-1200mm wide. You'll have at least 250mm clearance on each side. The low threshold entrance means no ramp is needed. We recommend the 11x13 as the minimum size if you want to store a mower and still have space for other equipment.

• How long does it take to assemble an 11ft Yukon shed?

Allow 6-10 hours with two people, depending on the model. The 11x9 takes around 6 hours. The 11x21 needs a full day. No specialist tools are required, a drill, socket set, and step ladder cover everything. We recommend assembling the floor and perimeter frame first, checking it's level, then building the walls panel by panel.

• Do I need planning permission for an 11ft wide shed?

Usually not, provided the shed meets permitted development rules. In England, garden buildings under 2.5m ridge height within 2m of a boundary, or under 4m ridge height elsewhere, don't need planning permission. The Yukon's 2520mm ridge height falls just above the 2.5m limit, so keep it more than 2m from any boundary. Always check with your local council.

• What warranty do 11ft Yukon plastic sheds carry?

All Yukon models carry a 15-year manufacturer warranty. This covers the aluminium frame, polycarbonate panels, and floor against manufacturing defects. The panels are UV-resistant and won't yellow or become brittle. The warranty requires the shed to be assembled on a suitable level base following the instructions provided.

• Can I add shelving or a workbench inside a Yukon shed?

Yes, the aluminium frame has mounting points for shelving brackets. We recommend freestanding heavy-duty shelving units rather than wall-mounted shelves for heavier items. The 11x13 and larger models give you 3m of clear back wall, enough for a full-width workbench. Use the gable wall (opposite the doors) for your workbench to keep the floor space open.
