Large Plastic Sheds
We stock 4 large plastic sheds in the Palram Canopia Yukon range, starting from £1,991. Every model is 11ft wide with an aluminium structural frame and shatterproof polycarbonate wall panels. The SkyLight translucent roof floods the interior with natural light. Double lockable doors, gable apex vents, and a built-in floor panel come as standard on all four sizes.
The Yukon range covers depths from 9ft to 21ft. Each shed uses 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate side panels that will never rot, crack, or need painting. Palram back every Yukon with a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. These are the largest plastic sheds we sell. They are the only range wide enough for ride-on mowers, workshop benches, or full garden storage.

The greenhouse parts plus glass arrived safely packed.
We erected the greenhouse ourselves and after a couple of initial errors we got into the swing of it and are really pleased with the results.
The diagrams in the instruction manual could be clearer but we got there, though it did seem to take many hours.

It was easy to choose the greenhouse itself and then the extras. Hassle free and it was delivered when expected. I would however advise that you may want to hire someone to put it together for you, unless you are good at following this sort of instructions. The greenhouse looks fantastic and I am very happy to have bought it. I would recommend the Greenhouse Stores.

Brilliant service from start to finish and a slight issue with my order was resolved extremely quickly great service

Great product and straight forward to assemble, would suggest a few addition 3D views in the assembly manual but thats only so you can confirm which orientation you are working on. Also make sure the base is securely fixed prior to the build and ensure you are within 1mm on corner to corner measuring so you know you are square before you start building up. Some of confusion on some of the instructions as the description can be read several ways. All in all a very simple build. Only concern is how it acts in strong winds, I have positioned mine adjacent to a fence on one side and a structure at the rear to try and reduce the potential for wind causing damage

About our large plastic sheds
Our large plastic shed collection features four Palram Canopia Yukon models, all 11ft wide. Prices start from £1,991 for the Yukon 11x9 and go up to £3,881 for the 11x21. Every model uses polycarbonate panels on an aluminium frame with a translucent SkyLight roof. They won't rot, rust, or need painting. Ever.
These are proper walk-in storage buildings. We've assembled all four sizes and the build quality is consistent across the range. The double lockable doors give 1464mm of clear opening width, which fits ride-on mowers and large garden equipment. All models include a heavy-duty floor, gable apex vents for airflow, and a 15-year warranty. Browse our full plastic shed collection for more options.
Why We Chose This Range
"The Yukon range is the only plastic shed line we've found that genuinely works as a workshop or large storage space. We've tested cheaper alternatives and the wall panels flex under wind load. The Yukon's 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate and galvanised steel perimeter frame give it rigidity you can feel when you lean against the walls. For anyone needing serious covered space without the maintenance of timber, this is what we recommend."
, Matt, Founder of Greenhouse StoresTypes of large plastic sheds we offer
Yukon Standard (11x9 & 11x13)
The two smaller Yukon models (£1,991, £2,552) suit most gardens. The 11x9 gives 7.9m² of floor space for bikes, tools, and garden furniture. Step up to the 11x13 for 11.4m², enough for a workbench along one wall with room to spare. Both include the heavy-duty floor as standard.
Yukon Extended (11x17 & 11x21)
The 11x17 and 11x21 (£3,542, £3,881) are workshop-grade buildings. The 11x17 provides 15.5m² of covered space. The 11x21 stretches to 19.3m², larger than many single garages. Both share the same 2520mm ridge height and double lockable doors as the smaller models.
Large plastic shed comparison
| Model | Width | Depth | Ridge Height | Floor Area | Doors | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yukon 11x9 | 3073mm | 2570mm | 2520mm | 7.9m² | Double lockable | £1,991 |
| Yukon 11x13 | 3073mm | 3810mm | 2520mm | 11.4m² | Double lockable | £2,552 |
| Yukon 11x17 | 3073mm | 5050mm | 2520mm | 15.5m² | Double lockable | £3,542 |
| Yukon 11x21 | 3073mm | 6290mm | 2520mm | 19.3m² | Double lockable | £3,881 |
Quick Tip: All four Yukon models share the same 3073mm width and 2520mm ridge height. The only difference is depth. This means you can decide purely on how much length you need without worrying about whether it'll fit the width of your plot.

Matt's pick for large plastic shedsBest For: Garden storage with room for a workbench Why I Recommend It: The 11x13 hits the sweet spot. It's big enough for a proper workshop layout but doesn't dominate a standard garden. I've assembled this model twice and the 11.4m² floor fits a workbench, shelving, and still leaves clear floor space. Price: £2,552 |
Matt's Installation Tip: Base Preparation for Large Sheds
The Yukon range is heavy. The 11x21 weighs over 200kg when assembled. You need a solid, level base, we recommend a concrete pad or compacted hardcore topped with paving slabs. The galvanised steel perimeter frame must sit perfectly flat. If your base is out by more than 5mm across the width, the doors won't align properly.
Allow 300mm clearance on all sides for assembly access. Once built, you can plant and pave right up to the walls. We always anchor the perimeter frame to the base using the included anchor kit, these sheds catch wind at this size.
Budget for a large plastic shed ranges from £1,991 for the 11x9 entry model to £3,881 for the full-length 11x21. All prices include free UK delivery. Every Yukon model carries a 15-year warranty, requires zero painting or treatment, and resists fire and rot.
Looking for a different width? We also stock 8ft wide plastic sheds in the Rubicon range and 6ft wide plastic sheds in Skylight and Rubicon. For all sizes in one place, visit our main plastic sheds page.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much do large plastic sheds cost?
Our large Yukon plastic sheds range from £1,991 to £3,881. The 11x9 is the entry point at £1,991, the 11x13 costs £2,552, the 11x17 is £3,542, and the largest 11x21 is £3,881. All prices include free UK delivery and a heavy-duty floor.
-
What base do I need for a Yukon plastic shed?
You need a level concrete pad or paving slab base. The base must be flat to within 5mm across the full width. We recommend a 100mm concrete pad for the larger 11x17 and 11x21 models. Compacted hardcore topped with paving slabs works well for the 11x9 and 11x13. Always extend the base 50mm beyond the shed footprint on each side.
-
Can I assemble a Yukon shed myself?
Yes, two people can assemble any Yukon model in 6-10 hours. The panels slot into the aluminium frame without specialist tools. You'll need a step ladder for the roof panels and a drill for the anchor bolts. We recommend starting with the floor and perimeter frame, then building up the walls before fitting the roof. The 11x17 and 11x21 take longer due to the extra panels.
-
Are Yukon plastic sheds secure?
Yes, all Yukon models have double lockable doors with a key lock. The polycarbonate panels are virtually unbreakable, far more resistant to forced entry than glass or thin plastic. The aluminium frame bolts together and the perimeter anchors to your base. For extra security, you can fit a hasp and padlock to the door handles.
-
Do Yukon sheds get condensation inside?
The gable apex vents significantly reduce condensation build-up. From our experience, the twin-wall polycarbonate panels provide some insulation, and the roof vents allow moisture to escape. In winter, you may see light condensation on cold mornings. Leaving the vents open year-round and avoiding storing damp items keeps the interior dry.
-
How do Yukon sheds compare to wooden sheds?
Yukon sheds need zero maintenance compared to annual treatment for timber. A wooden shed of similar size costs £1,500, £3,000 and needs re-staining every 1-2 years. The Yukon won't rot, won't rust, and carries a 15-year warranty. The trade-off is appearance, timber looks more traditional. But for pure storage, the Yukon wins on lifetime cost.
-
What wind and snow loads can these sheds handle?
Yukon sheds are rated for 75mph winds and 100kg/m² snow load. The aluminium frame and anchor system keep the structure stable in exposed positions. We always recommend using every anchor point in the kit, especially on the 11x17 and 11x21 models. In particularly windy spots, adding extra ground anchors at the midpoint of the longer walls gives peace of mind.
