Vitavia Orion 3800, 5000

Building an Orion involves a base stage and seven assembly steps, with two people and a square, level base. You need screwdrivers, 10 mm spanners, a tape measure and a spirit level. The Orion has curved acrylic-glazed eaves, one sliding door and one roof vent.

Prepare your base

Prepare a square, level base before you start the frame.

Build both side frames

Build both side frames flat on the ground, with the bolts loose.

Build the back gable

Assemble the plain back gable flat on the ground, with the bolts loose.

Build the door gable

Assemble the door gable flat on the ground, with the bolts loose.

Join and square the frame

Join the frames, stand them on the base, square the greenhouse, then tighten the bolts.

Build and hang the door

Build the sliding door, hang it and adjust it until it slides freely.

Build and fit the vent

Build and fit the single roof vent.

Fit the glazing

Fit the glazing seal, curved acrylic eave sheets and glass.
