About our elite dwarf wall 8ft wide greenhouses
See the perfect solution for serious gardening with our Elite Dwarf Wall 8ft Wide Greenhouses. This collection is designed for gardeners who need more space. The generous 8ft 5" width allows for U-shaped staging or a central potting bench, giving you far more room to work and grow than a standard 6ft model.
Why We Chose This Range
“We curating the Elite Dwarf Wall 8ft specifically for customers transitioning from hobby growing to semi-professional production. At this 8ft width, the Core-Vect technology is essential; when you mount a greenhouse onto a rigid brick wall, the frame must be perfectly stiff to avoid glass stress. We chose this range because Elite provides precision technical base plans, vital at this scale, so the 1.2m double doors operate with millimetre accuracy. It offers the best thermal stability of any aluminium greenhouse we sell.”
, Matt, Founder of Greenhouse StoresThese greenhouses sit on a 762mm high brick wall, which provides excellent thermal mass and raises the eaves height for growing tall plants. Every model includes 3mm toughened safety glass, double sliding doors, and a 20 Year Warranty. With free UK delivery and prices starting from £1279, it's a premium investment. Find the perfect size for your garden, from the popular Elite 8x10 Dwarf Wall Toughened to the expansive Elite 8x20 Dwarf Wall Toughened model.
💡 Tip: Choose the 8ft wide range if you want maximum working room. The extra width supports U-shaped staging, better workflow, and higher yields while the dwarf wall boosts thermal mass and headroom.

Matt's installation tip: the 8ft brickwork precision
The most common mistake with an 8ft Dwarf Wall is builders using 'standard' garden wall tolerances. At this width, your wall must be perfectly square across the diagonals to within 5mm. If the brickwork is 'diamonded', the double sliding doors will bind and the ridge will not sit level.
I always recommend using a damp-proof course (DPC) under the aluminium cill, but ensure it is trimmed flush so water doesn't pool against the frame. Importantly, wait until you receive our official technical base plan before starting the foundations, standard brick sizes vary, but the greenhouse frame dimensions are absolute. Choosing your elite 8ft dwarf wall greenhouse
The main choice in this collection is length. An Elite 8x8 Dwarf Wall Toughened model provides 64 sq ft of space, while the larger Elite 8x14 Dwarf Wall is suited for near self-sufficiency. All models come with 3mm toughened glass as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why choose an 8ft Dwarf Wall over a standard greenhouse?
The 8ft width provides enough space for staging on both sides and a wide central path. By sitting on a 762mm brick wall, you gain significant thermal mass, which stores heat during the day and releases it at night, keeping the environment more stable for delicate crops.
-
How do I get the plans for the brick wall?
As soon as your order is confirmed, we will email you the official Elite technical base plan. This provides the exact external and internal dimensions your builder needs to construct the wall to fit the frame perfectly.
-
Is the 20-year warranty standard?
Yes. Every Elite 8ft Dwarf Wall greenhouse includes a 20-year factory warranty on the aluminium framework, protecting your investment for decades.
-
How high does the brick wall need to be?
The dwarf wall must be built to exactly 762mm (30 inches) high from the foundation. It must be level and built before your greenhouse is delivered. For full details, read our expert How to Build a Greenhouse Base guide.
