Why invest in a janssens arcadia lean-to greenhouse?
The Janssens Arcadia lean-to range combines 60+ years of Belgian glasshouse manufacturing experience with practical British gardening needs. These aren't budget greenhouses, they're a long-term investment, built to last 25-30 years with minimal maintenance.
These structures attach directly to house walls, garage sides, or garden boundary walls, using your existing structure for additional thermal mass and wind protection.
Premium construction for UK weather
- Box-Section Aluminium Frame: 35mm x 35mm box-section profiles provide 40% greater rigidity and strength against wind loading.
- 4mm Toughened Safety Glass: Full-length Grade A safety glass, 5x stronger than horticultural glass, retaining up to 8-10°C more heat than polycarbonate.
- Stainless Steel Fixings: Prevent rust streaks and corrosion issues.
- Integrated Aluminium Guttering: 40mm downpipes handle heavy rainfall effectively.
- Low-Threshold Entrance: 25mm step allows easy wheelbarrow and wheelchair access.
Size & configuration options
- 5ft wide models (1.52m): Well suited to narrow side passages or patios.
- 7ft wide models (2.13m): Spacious enough for two people to work comfortably.
- 10ft wide models (3.05m): Ideal for garden rooms or dual-purpose spaces.
