About our Elite Craftsman greenhouses
The Elite Craftsman is a freestanding aluminium greenhouse, designed and made in the UK. Every model is 1900mm (6ft 2in) wide and has a single sliding door. It is wider than the 1590mm Elite Streamline and 1300mm Elite Compact. The Streamline has double sliding doors. For more width, consider the Elite Belmont.
Our paid orders for 1 April to 30 September 2026 record 26 Craftsman greenhouses and packages. Of these, 16 were toughened glass models and 5 were packages. The 8x6 toughened was our best-selling Craftsman, with 5 orders. Next were 6x4 toughened, 6x6 toughened and 8x6 horticultural, each with 4 orders. The 6x10 toughened had 3 orders.

How to choose your Elite Craftsman greenhouse
Measure your available space against the actual 1900mm width before choosing a length. Lengths are 4ft, 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 14ft, 16ft, 18ft and 20ft. The 8ft model is listed as 8x6, but it has the same width as every other Craftsman. All other sizes are listed as 6 x length. Every model has 1292mm eaves and a 2122mm ridge.
Choose 3mm toughened safety glass if you want safety glass for a family garden. The alternatives are 3mm horticultural glass and 6mm twin wall polycarbonate. The 6x6 polycarbonate model starts from £1,049. The 4ft and 6ft lengths have 1 opening roof vent. The 8ft, 10ft and 12ft lengths have 2.
Choose a Craftsman package if you want the listed ventilation fittings, staging and shelving included. Packages are available in 6x4, 6x6, 8x6, 6x10 and 6x12 sizes. The 6x4 horticultural package starts from £829. Each package adds an automatic roof vent opener and a 5 blade louvre window vent with an automatic louvre opener. It also includes 5 slat staging and 2 slat high level shelving down one side. Their length matches the greenhouse. A rainwater downpipe and a pack of 6 roof eyelets for training tomatoes are included.
Silver aluminium is standard, with 10 powder-coated finishes available. Every model has built-in gutters and an aluminium frame with bracing and strengthening.
