A height extension set raises an existing grow cabinet so you gain growing room without replacing the whole thing. The two Bonanza kits add 56cm of height and include the lock to secure the new section. The two Kitchenfarm kits do more: each brings an aluminium extension frame, extra Sanlight Flex II LEDs and another eb & flow tray, so you add both height and a full second growing layer. Prices run from £234 for the Bonanza 0.35m² kit up to £385 for the Kitchenfarm XL kit.
The one rule that matters: a kit fits one cabinet size only. The Bonanza 0.35m² set and the Bonanza 1m² set are not interchangeable, and the Kitchenfarm and Kitchenfarm XL kits differ in frame width and LED count. The Bonanza kits include a lock to clamp the new section to the original frame. It is a small part that is easy to mislay in the packaging. Fit it straight away, because without it the extension can work loose over a season of opening and closing.
