We fit a max min thermometer in every greenhouse we install. It is the simplest way to spot overnight frost risk before your plants show symptoms.
The Vitavia Max Min Thermometer records three readings at once: current temperature, the highest point reached, and the lowest. That -50°C to +50°C range covers everything from unheated overwinter growing to mid-summer peaks under glass. After checking your readings each morning, press the reset button to start tracking afresh.
Knowing your greenhouse temperature swing matters more than knowing the temperature right now. A greenhouse that drops below 2°C overnight needs a heater or extra insulation.
